In a remarkable display of resilience and teamwork, all 41 workers trapped in a tunnel construction site in India were successfully rescued, bringing their terrifying 17-day ordeal to an end.

The workers were trapped under mounds of rock and rubble following a landslide that caused a portion of the tunnel to collapse.

As darkness fell on the site, the last of the trapped workers were safely extracted, as reported by India TV.
